She is super sweet, and a little shy. Yes, she can be repetitive. Less than 10 students showed up to class for the rest of the semester, but I bet we all got A's. Just show up and do the assignments. 2 tests, some quizzes, random paragraphs you write and read to the class. Easy A if you show up and do the work!

Conversational Spanish with Cox is anything but conversational Spanish. She teaches you vocab and she goes over the same five words for about half of the class. Every day she will ask you what your major is. Monday's she will ask what you did over the weekend. Friday's she will ask what your plans are. She doesn't understand much English.

Very repetitive, and not in a good way. Gets lost in her thoughts and is the definition of unorganized! Never posts any relevant info to AsULearn, but gives handouts in class that are never used and only has 2 tests all semester. Good luck following along and taking notes in her class because it is almost impossible. Would never take her again.

Took her for Intro to Lit and it was so boring. I didn't learn ANYTHING. But if you don't do well on a test, she'll let another grade replace it. Sweet and knowledgeable lady, just not a good teacher. Take someone else if possible.

Profesora is an intelligent and kind woman. However, she has a lot of trouble articulating what she needs to say. Her lectures are incredibly difficult to follow. I feel rather disappointed that I did not learn a lot in this class.

Absolutely useless professor. We covered three topics over 16 weeks of class. 60% of your grade depends on homework and quizzes that she doesn't assign, and she doesn't answer questions in person or through email (gets really flustered, misses the point of the question). The exams are completely sentence writing. Hit or miss attendance.

Dr. Cox is so sweet and nice and her classes are easy to follow. She explains things a lot and her examinations are easy. She covers a lot of stories and there are a lot of questions about them, and then grammar. She is very flexible about assignments and attendance is not a problem.

Extremely easy class. She repeats herself a lot but is very nice. We don't have many grades. We had one midterm and about 2/3 quizzes. 2 absences are allowed but if you go over she won;t say anything. Class is kind of boring. She's very smart and will help you if you ask. You can basically do anything in her class (laptop, cellphone, headphones.)

I signed up for another class with Cox because of the level of easiness. She does repeat herself a lot and it's very easy to follow the lectures. Not much work is required except for reading, but a lot of material is recovered in class. Barely paid attention and made a 100 on the midterm. I enjoyed her appreciation for the material, that helped me!

Took for Lit. in Translation. I'm not sure she's taught this before? Poorly prepared, most classes were simply a waste. She seems quite nice and is probably a fabulous Spanish professor, but I don't think this was her forte - or we were the guinea pig group - because this was a frustrating 1 1/2 hours to get through with her.

Very helpful, nice. willing to help any student who is willing to ask. Grades accordingly. She's not an "easy" just go to class teacher. But she's good at testing for what's been taught. there's some time in all her classes to do work, and most finish it, so just chat. It's free time. and it helps when you speak in spanish!

Super sweet lady from Argentina. Mellow summer school teacher. Got D's on tests and quizzes but could speak Spanish better than most of the class, so I received a good grade. Easily sidetracked in class by Latin American politics and globalization. Talk to her if you are interested in traveling S. America.

Victoria Cox is AWESOME! She's kind of shy, but such a great lady once you get to know her. She can be hard to understand for beginners, but it's good because it exposes you to REAL Spanish. A really smart woman who is just great to be around.

She is a very nice and competent teacher. Take at least once if you are in the Spanish department. She knows the material well, never tests on anything not reviewed in class and will help as much as needed if you ask. Plus, she's fun to talk to in either language. A great professor.
