Comment:
She was a highly true and genuine prof. She owned up to her mistakes, and didn't act like she knew everything in the world. Vickie loves her work, loves research, and gives her graduate students a chance to teach a lecture. She cares about students doing well in the course, and will go back and assess questions with poor performance for fairness

She tried to make lectures interesing especially when the material was fairly dry. She played the best video clips! The midterm was easier than the final. I agree that her notes need work. There is a lot of information crammed into a single lecture but it was nice to only have 2 a week.

Comment:
Professor does not understand that she should MOTIVATE students to get involved in conservation biology in the REAL WORLD. She ignores or is ignorant of current issues and since currently conservation is a Canadian hot potato this is really sad. Prof sticks to the theory and delves little into application which is not appropriate for a honours ye

Professor really wants the class to do well. She encourages discussion in class, which makes things interesting and seems very approachable outside of class hours. Almost too easy for a fourth year course, if it wasn't for the tutorial work.

Her lectures were good, but the notes aren't great. The exam was fair. Overall, I'd say she's the best prof in BIOL 200.
