Absolutely terrible, if you're already stuck with him drop while you can! I love math and barely passed his class. Everyone else in the class was struggling as well. Does not explain things well at all and makes so many mistakes during his lectures that students correct him for that it's hard to know if he's teaching anything correctly. DROP

Drop the class ASAP i made the mistake of not doing so and its going to kill my GPA. He gives out quizzes on impossible questions that were not presented in his lectures which btw are so dry and hard to understand. I took the class thinking it would be easy but boy was i wrong.

Worst teacher I've ever had. If you have him drop him asap and take someone else. I have a 3.8 GPA and received a C in this class. Bulk of your grade consists of 3 question quizzes on questions that are much harder than he ever taught... You get one question wrong and you already almost fail the quiz.

If I didn't know the material already, I would not have passed. Not a clear teacher at all. Extremely simple math class, yet over half of the class didn't understand what was happening because of his very eccentric teaching style. It's doable definitely, but not suggested. Very quiet as well - sit near the front or else you won't hear him.

Professor Wolfson is a great man and is very understanding and compassionate. He tries to make his class fun for the students even though the material can be boring. Good man but hard class, sit near the front because he speaks softly.

Paul is such an easy professor. He tries to give you credit for problems even if you mess up the entire thing. The girl that sat next to me didn't even buy the book and still left the class with a 97%. He is very nice and tries to tell jokes.

Honestly one of the worst professors I've ever had. His homeworks are overly complicated and not worth much, His quiz's include material not used in class, and his attitude towards students can be harsh. He's one of those math professors who doesn't understand that not everyone loves Math which makes his teaching style difficult to follow.

Worst teacher I've ever had. How in the world could I have gotten a B in calculus in high school, and be afraid of failing this simple class? I get that it's high school, but it was also calculus as opposed to probability and logarithms, etc. Easy stuff, yet he makes it nearly impossible. Tests you on subject matter you learned 3 weeks prior.

Nice man. That's the best I can say about him. He's so bad at teaching, I felt sorry for him. But I felt much worse for me. He is utterly useless as a teacher. If you go into this class knowing that you will have to teach yourself permutations, etc, & the lectures are absolutely pointless, you might get a D. Ur not an exception, drop the class now

He told us the first day about 50% of students fail his class or drop out. My class started with about 40 and 11 were left by the final. I took honors calc in hs and got an A-. This class was so much easier and I got an A. Most think he's horrible at teaching. Nice guy though. Do NOT take his calc class if you've never taken calc before!

Prof. Wolfson isn't easy to comprehend. It takes a lot of effort outside of class to understand the material. He can't explain anything. I took calculus prior to this class and now i have a worse understanding of it. The class is very fast and their are quizzes every week that will determine your grade. Do not take his class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I went into this course with a 3.7 GPA that I killed myself to get, and now it went down because I have to retake this class (even though I got a high B in 103??). I tried so hard to do well but he just doesn't want his students to achieve. He's one of the worst professors that I've ever had, if not the worst.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE IN IT NOW DROP IT. First day of class he says "I don't expect you to fully understand the concepts because I don't fully understand the concepts". He created this class. Lectures are poor which are needed to do well on the quizzes. Grades essays unfairly. Does not go over articles for which to write your essays.

Whatever you do, do not take any class he teaches. It takes skill to make a class that sounds awesome and interesting as boring as he did. He talks about 'painting a picture', yet holds quizzes with 5-10 hyperspecific questions. It's impossible to study or take notes for the class. He's a nice man, but he shouldn't be teaching.

He does not use the textbook at all for 103, so no point in buying it. He does not answer questions or explain things well. The homework is usually online. He gives quizzes once or twice a week, and he times them. I often did not finish and neither did others. He can not teach. On the positive side,the material is easy.
