Shes a great professor! The class before the test she does a review, its the exact test so Id advise recording her & writing later. Lectures are pretty monotone, other than that shes really nice and loves her job! Attendance doesnt count, just make sure youre there for the review and youll do well on the tests

I LOVED Prof. Mocsary! She is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. She gives you the questions straight from her lectures and the exams. After the exams she will show you what you got wrong and will help you figure out how to prevent it in the future! I've decided to take her again for History 201 and can't wait!

Best Teacher Ever! I like history but she made me so much more interested in it! attend class so you can get notes and understand them there rather than looking a someone else's and be confused. Great instructor! Take her! not a stressful class. trust me. just attend. 4 tests and a bonus or two! she also gives feedback on test (make an appt.)

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!! She reads all her notes for you to write down and take like she's reading to herself. She switches topics in the middle of you taking notes. She reads so fast its ridiculous! Do not take her!

She does not help with anything you miss class and ask for the notes she will not give them to you even if you are sick with a doctors note. She is long winded and does not give any kind of extra credit its lecture so be prepared to write. worst class i ever took.

Awesome teacher just a lot of notes. Has a good sense of humor. Dont use the book at all but usually a handful of questions come from the book the chapters you need to read are on the syllabus and everything is straightforward and she usually reviews the class before the test. Made history interesting for me when i usually dread it

Victoria is a very smart woman and knows her stuff about anything involving American history. However, you will write till your hands feel like they're about to break off. About 10 pages of notes per day. The test suck.

I liked her. Her lectures are interesting and she has a quirky since of humor. I was never a fan of history classes before, but she actually made the class interesting. You do take a lot of notes and must attend class regularly if you actually want to learn something(imagine that) but she is a good professor and I enjoyed her class.

She was great. I never read the book, just took good notes and read over them two or three times before a test. She gives out word lists, so as long as your notes have everything from the word lists you'll do fine on a test. She is also kind of funny.

She is a very nice lady ,however, she gives you a word study guide but doesn't follow it in order in her lectures. Class attendence is important to her. There are 4 test with bonus. I honestly wouldn't recommend her but I will say she loves history.

She is passionate about LA history. However, her lecture is all over the place. If you take this class be prepared to take your own notes from the word bank she hands out per unit because it is hard to take noted from the lecture alone.

Ms. Mocsary was a fun history teacher. She was admittedly somewhat scatterbrained but I couldn't help but find her passion for the subject fun. Downside is that you'll end up with the book more than her actual notes, plus I got a C+ even though I studied a LOT. So I'd say recommend but not highly.
