There were quite a few reading materials every week and you would write a reading response every week as well. Her class was pretty boring if you arent into the food systems subject. She would pace the room and talk for the entire hour and 15 minutes. I did learn a lot about the food system but only through the readings not what she talked about.

Very interesting class if you like Environmental Ethics. Dr.R can become a little long-winded and off topic and the lectures don't always have the best structure. She is fantastic though! super passionate about the topic and that makes it fun. There is writing assignment due every week, but it is very manageable, especially since there are no tests

This class had a lot of work, but Dr. Randlett made it worth it. Her lectures were great and our discussions were even better. This class has a lot of reading and writing- 3 required textbooks, 10 reading responses, 4 food challenges, and 2 papers. If you have the chance, take this class- and treat Dr. Randlett well- she's a true gem!

Hated the program we used for grading (Launchpad). Syllabus was confusing, but once you understand it, everything's there. Recommend not taking this class unless you have to. It was a lot of busy work. Randlett however is really passionate about GEOG and you will def learn something from her class even if your grade doesn't reflect it, sadly.

Dr. Randlett is a good teacher who seems to know what she is doing. She did not seem to realize that she gave out the most homework even though she said she was going to do little and her quizzes were quite hard. She did not really go over the material in class (read the maps in the book). There were 5 30pt., 3 50pt. assignments, and 7 quizzes.

Dr. Randlett is the best professor I've ever had. She is extremely caring, beyond knowledgeable, and incredibly inspirational. This class is a seminar, so it's discussion-based. Every week, my thinking continued beyond the class. She is a strong asset of our geography department and I'm ecstatic to take class #5 from her. She has a heart of gold!

Professor Randlett is a good prof, she is super excited all the time and the lectures are somewhat interesting, she's very knowledgeable and willing to help. However, her syllabus is confusing in correspondence to the software used for class. There is only one exam and it is the final, and all homework is online, class attendance is required.

If I had the opportunity to go back and choose another professor, I 100% would. As a person, she is great, very passionate about geography and current events. HOWEVER, be aware that her syllabus is ablsolute garbage when it comes to online work. There is no organization at all, and very difficult to work with.

Dr. Randlett is incredible. This is my 3rd class with her and certainly won't be my last. Lots of reading, but the reading is enjoyable. Has high expectations, but if you put in the work, you'll be pleased with the outcome. She's always willing to help and is overly sweet. If you're able, take her, but treat her well- she has a heart of gold.

Such a charm! I was worried that Econ. Geog. would be boring and hard, but Dr. Randlett made it incredible. I could look forward to this class and she always made it worthwhile to go. Very inspirational and caring towards students. Dr. Randlett is an invaluable professor and is a teacher of both the book and the heart- she constantly gifted me.

My first semester at UNR and I was lucky enough to have Dr. Randlett. Such a gem! It is obvious that she cares about her students and wants to give them a true, meaningful education. I built a connection with her rather quickly and will cherish her for years to come. She always made me smile and made class enjoyable. She's an asset to our dept.!

I've talked to her on numerous occasions and she is a very intelligent woman, I'd love to see her in a classroom setting. She very kind and understanding if you miss classes with a good excuse. Good teacher, can be disorganized and doesn't follow syllabus - but that's only because she engages in the courage content and makes sure the students understand it

She was awesome. This class is taught by two professors. I would have much rather had her as the sole instructor. She knows her stuff and grades mostly on how you have improved over the course of the semester. If she likes you and your research topic, you will think she is the best. I did. Tons of reading. No tests. Long paper. Great prof!

If you're new to college and you expect to show up to class every so often and occasionally turn in a paper, Victoria will fail you. This instructor knows her material. She will help you become a better student and help you think outside of your box but you have to show effort. We didn't always see eye to eye but she'll listen to your comments and

A lot of work is required in this class. Accumulative final is not cool. No good study guides just basically makes you read absurd amount of articles and write 7 three or four page papers
