I found this class to be aggravating. If you have faith in the Bible you might not afterwards if are not well-grounded in your theology. I was most frustrated by his sweeping statements that students took as truth. Grace loathes the hypocrisy of Christianity but the way he expresses that disgust is quite uncharitable not to mention unprofessional.

By far the worse professor i have ever had! Supposedly this is a religion class, but u can't tell the first month or so because he spends alot of the class talking about his extremely liberal political views. Very Boring in class, just lectures on and on. Wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone.

class was pretty boring since mine was 2.5 hours. but he has a passion for religion and the only work u have to do is a midterm (he gives u the questions before so u can prepare) and a take home final so if u do good on those u will get an A. i brought my comp to class and went online the whole time. take if u want a pretty easy grade

Cannot stay awake in this class because he sounds like Ben Stein. Counts as a lit requirement, but is the most godawful class. You can skip class every week and still learn the same amount you would if you actually attended.

Very clear about what he wants and he gives you the tests. You need to have basic writing skills in order to pass. Just show up to his class and pay attention and you'll get an A. He's a very fair grader and willing to help you out if you actually put in the effort to go to class. People that don't do well in this class are lazy.

The material was uninteresting to me, but I am sure it would be interesting to a religion/theology major. He seems to know what he is talking about. Tests were essay and he gives you the possible questions so if you prepare beforehand you should be fine. He will help you if you go meet with him.

Simply terrible. The each class meeting consists of two hours of the professor talking--there is almost zero interaction. Tests are easy enough if you take the time to prepare in advance. This class should only be taken if you're desperate for a lit requirement, otherwise STEER CLEAR.

Nice guy and the class is generally entertaining and interesting. However, he is quite unclear of expectations for assignments and tests. Also, his lecture style makes it near impossible to distinguish between what he feels is important and unimportant.

He was the most imteresting professor. He had amazing details to give us in order to raise questions as to the origins and truths about the biblical writings. Very willing to give extra help if you are confused on a subject.
