I took Victoria for three different English classes, and was able to transfer to Berkeley with her encouragement. I do not think I would be the writer I am today with her pushing me to do my best. I have read some of the negative comments and clearly they are written by students who are not ready for college. Victoria is GREAT!

Extremely liberal. She actually mentioned in my class that she believes metrosexual men might be a new evolution. Fun teaching, lots of activities and debate, but at the same time if she doesn't like you, her bias seeps into your grade. You're probably going to write 4-5 papers. 2 being 10 pages at least.

Sansome is VERY difficult if you go into 100 all alone without 90. Shes unclear and sometimes discusses things that are boring. She also teaches at a University, and with com. college kids, she expets the SAME if not BETTER work. Very hard.

Even though she was hard at times and liked to scare people into getting better grades, seems like everyone did learn a lot in her class. She knows her english and atleast shes entertaining at the same time ... she sticks to the work and makes everyone work hard but she still does have a comedy side to her when she lets it out.

She is unclear and goes off on tangents when answering questions. It's as if she did not know the answers herself. She takes forever to get her words out and they leave you confused anyway. Make sure you write all required papers because missing one will fail you even if the rest were A's.
