Take Her!!! Yes there's a lot of work, but she challenges you to understand it and do it. She's super nice and actually cares for her students. Her office hours are literally all the time. I went to her at least 6 times throughout the semester and she's one of the better accounting teachers.

Dr. Shoaf is amazing and truly cares about her students. She was always accessible in her office hours and she doesn't hesitate to help with any questions on exams or for the homework. The content is hard but that's how Accounting always is, she takes the time to make sure each student knows what's going on. Would take her again

Poor lectures without clear feedbacks. I would never recommend her to any student, unless you want her help you get an internship or a job after graduation. I learned almost nothing and had to study from the book. Don't rely on previous gradings of her.

One of my easiest accounting class. If you do ur work and pay attention in class u shud be fine. 80% of midterms are take home. Finals are pretty easy. Picks the best 2 scores out of the 3 midterms. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Gives HW and take home quizzes. put some effort to do them and its a easy class. I got an A with ease.

Very helpful professor. Made accounting easy to understand even if its your first time taking it and even if its at 8:30 on Saturday mornings. Homework for every class which was ok, because it helped you learn the material.

Took her for Critique. We had a ton of articles from the FASB/SEC website but I can honestly say they are important to know. Nice lady with very funny faces and expressions. She talks to herself alot but it is funny. Take home Midterm & Final and paper. Alot of work and not an easy A but she is helpful.

Great Professor. Just make sure you do the homeworks and extra credit. She also likes alot of participation and will call on you to answer problems. She always has this really confused face which is pretty annoying at times. As long as your there to do what you have to do she will reward you.

Took her for Critique of Accounting Theory. Class was ok, kinda boring and a lot of reading. Tests were both take home but very hard, even with groups of people they were still tough to finish. Also a 15 page paper which is heavilly critiqued since she used to be an English professor. I did like that there were no in class tests though.

She is a nice lady, but can give work that is a bit confusing and difficult. She is not a harsh grader, and likes people who do the work and participate. Depending on the class, an A might be a little tough, but a good grade is not difficult. The reading in Critique may be a bit much, but participate in the beginning by reading a small amount.

Has funny expressions, always looks confused. She gives a lot of work! You realllly have to work for the A. Reading and presenting articles, doing homework everyday either online on handed in, a huge report on a fortune 500 with presentation, 3 exams, written assignments!! Puts you on the spot in class to figure out a problem from the textbook.
