Dr. Rinaldo is an excellent professor. He knows his material, but he is not arrogant like other professors I have had. He is demanding and he is a tough grader, but he is very approachable and provides good feedback. He is quick witted with a good sense of humour. I enjoyed his class.

Avoid taking this guy for anything. Arrogant and completely humorless, plus assigns way more busy work than needed. Worse is the hypocrisy... He takes away points for what he feels are inaccuracies yet makes numerous errors of his own in his syllabus, such as contadicting himself on how many sources are needed. He shouldn't be teaching.

I've learned a lot in Dr. Rinaldo's class! He is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met, and has a great sense of humor. I think there will be no professor who would teach this class better. The workload is a bit heavy, but is evenly distributed throughout the semester. "You get your money worth with me",- Dr. Rinaldo said, and it's true!

Dr. Rinaldo is a phenomenal professor, but you cannot go into his class expecting a cakewalk or preferential treatment. He's a classic 'tough but fair' professor. I learned a ton from him about educational research, and professionalism in general. He really set the tone that the harder you work, the more successful as a teacher you will be.

very knowledgeable and he actually practices what he teaches. He supports his explanations with examples and knows how to get you to think. It's hard to get a high grade and there's a heavy workload, but if you want to learn well, take him.

He is a very great prof. and really knows a lot.There is a heavy work load, but in the end you learn a lot. Remeber, HE MEANS WHAT HE SAYS. My only complaint is that he does not peer review homework like he would be grading it.

I think that although there is a heavy workload, Dr. Rinaldo seems to have a firm understanding of the subject area and wants to ensure that we have a firm understanding of the material as well. It's important to understand some of the theories that we have discussed as future teachers. His classroom style of teaching is one where you read the chapter, outline it, discuss it, research a theorist, and present said theorist. The class is very theoretical and gets you to think, but a good class nonetheless.

Rinaldo is a really good prof. Very helpful. He answers his emails right away. His class is really interesting. Yeah, the work is pretty demanding. But he makes the 3 hour class go by really fast. He's a really good prof. Recommend his class to everybody.
