Caccese is a really nice person, but he's really too smart to teach this low level class. He does give a couple examples and goes over questions but sometimes confusing and sometimes need to teach yourself. Isn't the best but definitely isn't the worst. And he is a very generous grader, allowed 3 sheets of notes on exams

He is an OK professor in class, but when I went to see him to get help on homework he had no idea how to do the problems and had to look at the solution manual. Also, slow at responding to emails. There is a good amount of homework, and the tests are doable if you go to class and put in the time.

A nice person, I didn't use class notes much to study for his tests. Usually if I just studied the book examples and the HW that was enough to get an 80 at least. I enjoyed having strengths with him

Vinnie is the man. He's not good at giving example problems so you will need to use your book a log, but he will always answer your questions. Hes a VERY nice guy though, although he is very awkward outside of class. Very fair grader. Hes also my advisor and I really like him for that too, very helpful in every way. Cant wait till advanced strengths

Dr. caccese: really nice guy. Lectures are not always as clear as they could be, but he is extremely knowlegable. If you are good at asking questions you can get a lot out of class. One of the best things about Cass is that he is easy going, i.e. not anal about accepting HW that's a day or two late, and he won't yank the a test out from under y

Really nice guy, but I wasn't too fond of his teaching. Usually class was barely worth attending. Have to give him credit for having optional review sessions twice a week. HW sucked, but he went over some of it in the review sessions, making it more bearable. The final was awful. Not a horrible teacher, but I'd opt for Sayles.

Very good in class. Energetic and enthusiastic about his subject. He seems very approachable in class but when you go in to visit him in his office (assuming you can catch him in it) he kind of makes you feel like he doesn't want you there. But he does take the time to explain any problems you're having if you ask.
