Comment:

She's fair, very fair. She tells stories from her experience as an Anthropologist, which is so helpful. If anybody listens, they'll notice that her stories DO link to her teachings. She's a wonderfully, passionate professor. The grade she gives reflect how much effort you put into her class. I'll take her again if I can! Its too bad she's retiring.

AWESOME teacher! Loved her passion, honesty and integrity to herself. I wish more instructors treated college students like accountable adults instead of children. She speaks like an adult to adults and in my opinion those that cant handle that are immature and narrowminded! I definately would reccommend her class!

This class is pretty ridiculous. Some of the videos are interesting but I could not stand listening to her lectures. Very liberal, bias, and eccentric. I barely studied for the 2 exams and got A's on both of them. She gave me a B in this class. Kind of annoying

She is a good person in general,BUT she never goes over any of the readings in class. She constantly talks about her personal life and her views on the war. Her lectures are never on point with her syllabus. She constantly misses class. Take some else for this couse.

i don't think justice was done for her. her lectures are really interesting.we do get onto tangents at times, but a lot of what she says is relevant and helpful. basically, just review the notes, which is very little, do the summaries, study the vocabs in the book, and you'll do fine in the class. essays are very broad-easy. she's a good teacher. and i got an A :)

her lectures have nothing to do with her tests... she BSes and BSes all day in class and if she can't explain something, she'll think of some random words that kind of make sense... she doesn't even lecture about what we read about and shes always late to class and unorganized. Overall, the worst lecturer I ever had.

Great teacher! If you have the chance take her. She's very interesting and funny. She Knows what shes talking about and creates a good environment for the class room. Very easy. Just do the summeries and read every so often and you'll be good.

One of the best teachers i have had. She is really into teaching and allows the class to be a very open enviroment. Entertaining and has a great attitude about looking at how things really are. As long as you pay attention and read the book you can get a good grade.

this class is very easy if you are an independent learner. her lectures don't relate to the subjects from the book as much but her tests are fairly easy. the essay questions are very vague& can be applied to almost anything. do the homework and read the chapters on ur own. it's not that long and pretty interesting. did i mention her tests are easy?

She is obnoxious and tooooo sarcastic. She only likes ethnic people and for some reason she hates christianity and that bugs!!! She only calls on ethnic people in the class as if European isn't an ethnicity!!! Sometimes she's rude but her class is easy.

Eh... She's not as hip or interesting as everyone thinks. Her class was a bore to me. Anthro is an incredibly interesting course so don't waste your time with her. Take cultural anthro with another professor.
