Oh and don't bother buying the CD text book....she never even MENTIONED it in class..save yourself the 15 bucks because you'll need to pay for the taxis to take you to the specific store to buy all the materials like SPECIFIC printing paper, cd's, cd paper slips bc she doesnt accept jewel cases, and a portfolio for your final portfolio

As a person..she's not that bad, but she's insane. She doesn't help you and won;t clarify what you're doing wrong or try to help. She's super serious with attendance and will lower your grade after 2. Lots of work outside the class and very specific projects but somehow doesn't clarify.She WILL NOT give you an A.. sticks to the 85 range. -_-

Absolutely awful. 2 absence attendance policy for an 8am is absurd/impossible. She will make you watch the same movie from 1980 3 classes in a row. She gives the worst, redundant lectures. She fails at emailing you back. Finally, she has the most ridiculous, scatter brained mindset. If you are looking for an easy a, DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS.

She's really not as bad as everyone says. She has great incite and works with you to get better. In intermediate photography you spend a lot of time in the darkroom but if you need more time she's flexible. If you show effort and act like you want to be there, you can get an A

takes the class way too seriously. had photo for 3 years in high school, she told us on the first day no one would get an a on an assignment and stuck by that..your work is never good enough. kind of crazy and attendance policy is too strict, especially as my 8 a.m. dont depend on this for a fun class or an easy a.

As a teacher, she is useless. It is clear that she does not know as much as she thinks she knows, which is disheartening because she is then unable to help students as they need to be helped. She is nice and willing to help, but it is not always the correct choice for your work. You do have to work hard and but in the time with the tutor or else.

this lady is so disorganized and all over the place. granted i made every single photography mistake there is to make, she wasn't very helpful and a very tough grader. she expects us to know everything about photography right away even though it is a beginner course. not reccommended.
