She's not that bad of a teacher. She's very picky about a lot of stuff. Can have a bad attitude at some times. There are no tests or papers. She gives quizzes every day, so make sure you go to class. Do the reading that she assigns! She makes you do a few group projects, but they're not that bad. She's pretty easy compared to other english teachers

Overall, the class was not too bad. She is very obsessive of certain things, like which side you write your name on your paper and alphabetical seating. Learn her teaching style, READ THE MATERIAL (it isn't too bad if you just do it), and pay attention in class. Don't bother taking notes, just READ. Go to all extra credit and you'll be fine.

Had Viera for British Literature. Was a horrid teacher. Used high school textbook. Made you read assignments between classes, only to waste the class period rereading them aloud. Quizzes contain questions that are of very little importance to the reading material. For some reason, is a lot nicer outside of the classroom. {Take at your own risk!}

Dr. Viera is not a great teacher she's just "there". Teach the subject to yourself. Disorganized and it shows with her "2 minute warning" style. She really doesn't state what the goals of the class are, and isn't very interested in providing any help. Too much group work. She also likes to humiliate people openly about their grammer.

Pay attention and you'll be okay. Daily quizzes over the reading, but offers bonus points for knowing current events and headlines. I think she really cares about students. She encourages them to think and stretch in areas they might not have considered before. I'd take her again, no problem. Test are some quotes, some essay.

She is very boring. Constantly changes her mind on what she wants. She assigns way to much reading. It is nothing to have to read 2-300 pages between each class and have a 5 question quiz over it before each class. there are no written test though. Dont take if you dont like reading. She crams to many books into the course.

I really enjoyed Viera's class. She really likes those who participate in class willingly. There is a daily quiz (very easy), not many notes, easy reading, & a lot of extra credit. I loved this class!
