very enthusiastic about inverts. she's a little weird but at least she's not boring! just a typical bio class where u have to memorize lots of info. her tests are pretty straight fwd. i would recommend her class. she's very nice.

Really enjoyed this class. I took it for fun and don't regret my decision at all. There was a lot of information and a lot of memorization but she pretty much spoon feeds it to you. Do the work, Study, and be prepared for hard tests with diagrams to label! Take this class!

Awesome teacher. She doesn't post her lectures notes online (she writes them on the chalk board), so going to class is mandatory. It's better that way though 'cause then you really learn the material. She's very enthusiastic about invertebrates and funny, which makes the lecture enjoyable to listen to. Very happy to answer any questions you have.

I love biology, and I came into BI212 already having taken the 300 level human a and p- but her tests were HARD. She asks questions about specifics and not about the major concepts. Be wary about how simple she makes things seem!

She is alright. Her tests give you a run for your money. She is very detailed in her testing and it is hard to sometimes understand what she is saying, even when you take notes. Reading the book is required and understanding everything like the back of your hand is mandatory going into her test.

when she says she tests off the lecture slides, she really does go into detail. textbook reading is suggested to fully understand material, exams can be pretty difficult if you don't know your stuff. otherwise, very enthusiastic professor

I loved her in this class a lot more than when she taught Bi 212. Her enthusiasm rubs off on you, making it easier to enjoy/listen to the lecture. Her style is old school; she uses a chalkboard and you have to write down the notes, but it's better that way. If you memorize her notes-it's an easy A. I loved this class! It was one of my favorites.

A Superb Lecturer! I like her old school style, (not relying on powerpoint and making you write down whats on the board). Very enthusiastic! It keeps your attention and gets you really interested in the subject. If you study hard and in detail the tests are easy (memorise all the terminology). If you don't study you will stuggle. She is Funny too.
