I am a former nursing student from Lewis, I love a good challenge. However, this man was strange. He was inappropriate, commenting on my shirt one day. I could tell he was trying to be intimidating as if he enjoys making others feel uncomfortable. He offered extra credit to meet in his office "just to talk". No thanks. Very odd man.

Father Graham was very smart, re asks a lot but also knows a lot. He is VERY biased though about Catholics he made us read a book about how catholics live better lives than other people lol!

This teacher was the worst teacher of religion in literature! He did not understand that his own writings and those of Andrew Greeley DO NOT count as literature. Fr. Graham also liked to tout the fact that he had a degree in journalism- which led him to teach religion and literature like a high school class (giving frequent quizzes)?

Comment:

Expects students to follow syllabus. Challenges you to think about what you are reading. Gives quizzes often, and must write several one page papers. Lazy students will have a hard time. He involves everyone in class discussions - can make you squirm. If you want to learn something - I'd highly recommend taking a class with him.

After reading some of the commentary on here i was quite worried to have him....make sure to God you read his syllabus because he will give you hw off of it without telling you in class...other than that as long as you c/q/e it is pretty easy to get an a on his papers and the quizzes are very easy...relax people he isnt as bad as everyone says

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with everyone. I did not get a good grade in his class, I was scared to come every day!!! But honestly, he is a GREAT teacher and I learned more in his class than any other. It was rough getting through it but at least I walked away with something in the end. A teacher not for the weak!!!

this is the meanest teacher i ever had, just a rotten human being, always making fun of people and only likes a few select students (future nuns and monks). This guy is the worst thing about Lewis University.

Awful teacher. He does not care at all. He never lets you know what to do for your papers - he'll just give you Ds until you figure it out for yourself. Makes fun of people all the time and will DEFINITELY let you know if he doesn't like you, sometimes in front of the class.
