Got my BS in EE 3 yrs ago.Just signed up here b/c of moronic comments that I saw. If u want to get an A just get a hold of his previous tests & take them with u to the final and copy them,u 'll get an A. He would do nothing if u cheat and if u don't u'll get a C+ like I did. He'll copy the same grade over if u take the B course. He is REALLY BAD!!!

Avoid the Ku at all costs. He is a terrible lecturer, difficult to understand, and wanders. Our TA was a grad student and had trouble trying to understand some of the stuff this dinosaur was trying to teach us.

IMHO Ku is one of the better teachers at ucsd. he offers an a$$ load of help and when it comes down to it he is an easy grader cause it baffles me beyond belief how i ended up passing this damn class.

Professor Ku is an excellent professor. Don't listen to those EE drop outs stupid reviews. He is very smart, very helpful and his tests are SUPER EASY. Just take good notes in class and you will be fine. My highest midterm in EE at ucsd was professor Ku's midterm (97%) and am just an average student

TWO PORT NETWORKS!!!!!!!! That pretty much sums up much of the class. Make sure you're sharp in Linear Algebra and Laplace Transforms before coming into the class. Addtionally studying convolution ahead of time helps a lot. Homework assignments are a challenge but help prepare you for the exams.

Very informative and challenging class. Exams are fair and are open-book and lecture notes. Focuses a LOT on two-port networks and his own material not covered in the book, so good notetaking skills are essential. Writes recommendation letters for those who can do extremely well in his class.

He's very smart. If you ask him questions, he'll always help you. He doesn't strictly adhere to the book, but he doesn't teach stuff that's useless either. Unlike in my fall 04 ECE109 class, I understand the material after doing the homework. Study convolution, Laplace, s=jw substitution, & matrices
