One of the best profs ever. He's very friendly and seriously knows everything there is to know about vernacular furniture. Very helpful and makes sure that you understand the topic at hand.

he's a very nice man and he knows a lot about what he's teaching. there are several people in the class who get upset over their grades and such, so don't mind that last post. overall walter is doing a good job, and the course is VERY easy and great fun.

most useless prof ever. Some classes make me scream afterwards because not only is he stupid but I three year old could complete the projects and get 5/5. Today he taught us to insert a key in a lock (no, there was no greater lesson, it was THAT stupid). I HATE HIM. RUN RUN RUN!

This man has so much knowledge about NF vernacular furniture and he presents it with reference to the time and surroundings when it was created. This is a great help in understanding why those pieces look the way they do. If you like NF history and ancestry, this is a terrific course!

Good professor. Lectures are a little dull, but this is more due to the three hour timeslot than any problem with the professor. Professor has a wealth of knowledge about the subjects he teaches and for this he's recommended!
