Excellent professor. If you want to know database and MS Access (advanced part) take his class. He really teaches.Had him in 2002. He gave alot of work so be prepared to work hard. You will get use to his accent.

Comment:

Though his accent makes him difficult to understand, he is a nice person. Does try hard to be helpful, however, amount of homework & lab is ridiculous for 1.5 credits. Had less work in 3 credit classes. Also, what's up with two mid-terms then a final! As long as you do the work, should do well. Got an A when I thought I would get a B or B+.

He is one of the best professors in the CIS dept. He really cares about your success. He does his best and expects you to do the same. The accent is hard to understand in the beginning, but pay attention and it all clears up in a week. Seriously, he deserves an honest chance--something most people aren't willing to give him..

I don't think this professor can teach in his own language. He is the worst speaker I have even heard. I couldn't understand 90% of what he said. Luckily I read the book twice, otherwise I would have never understood DB systems. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! His pronunciation sucks! Wonder how the chairperson still lets him teach!!!

Yes, he is the toughest prof in CIS dept but he is one of those who wants you to learn from the class. He gives alot of HWs which are very lengthy, takes alot of time. Not a good idea to take 4 more classes with his class.If you are serious abt the subj then u must take him.

Beware CIS majors! He had me confused from day 1. He CANNOT SPEACK ENGLISH! We had 10 hw total but he wanted to cover so much stuff we had to do 3 hw after the end of semester. He's arrogant and expects you to know stuff even if he CAN'T TEACH! Final was hard and on stuff that he spent 5 minutes on.

Um ok: we had about 16 assignments for this class. The exam average was a 40! No curve! Take at your own risk!!!! This professor cannot speak ENGLISH! Doesnt care if you fail, wants to get rid of as many students as possible. HORRIBLE!

He was very straightforward about what we needed to know for the quizzes and final. His accent is hard to understand, but he writes everything he says on the board, so it's not so bad.
