Comment:

At first I was a bit unsure of taking this class due to the fact that he says "uhm" A LOT!! Once I got past that issue, the class itself was very easy. The workload is super manageable: two papers and weekly take-home quizzes (which could be completed by using common sense) Overall, great instructor!

Comment:

This man is an actual angel. He is so incredibly caring and has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. He is easy to talk to and his classes are super fun. I took yoga and Tai Chi from him, and he even lets me join in his yoga class now whenever even though I'm not enrolled in it, as he told me he wants to help reduce my anxiety and yoga helps.

He id the best of the best. Clear on everything and welling to help any student. Just come to class and do the weekly easy Question and five true/ F quizzes and mid and final are take home. I loved the class and learned many new things that going to help me with my live.

Professor Allen has concise lecture slides and the concepts were easy to understand. He has everything on Moodle so it was easy to reference when you need clarity and he is very accessible in office hours and by email. His lectures had several tangents, he gets lost on them sometimes but the material itself was easy. Great prof!

Mr. Allen is a super nice guy, has a lot of interesting things to say, &has plenty of life experience to lean on, but his class was a little under-stimulating for me. He doesn't lecture in a traditional way &seems more like a philosopher, which is fine, but not my cup of tea. The work is not difficult at all & the final is a take-home. Easy A.

He was one of the best professors I have had at WOU. He talks a lot about interesting things, you don't really take notes. He is a fan of Google and his final is a take home test. He is extremely helpful, thinks outside of the box, and is a easy grader but I have learned more in his class than at most WOU classes! Definitely take him!!!
