Dr. Losano is very honest, dry, and funny. He's one of those prof's you hate at first, but love by the end. He comes off as a hard-ass to get you to work hard, but if you do, he'll take care of you.

He's very intimidating. I was trembling every time I walked into that door. He was rude and sarcastic. He used to make comments like, "this class is going to be difficult if you're an ESOL student." He is really boring to listen to but he makes the class passable. He really doesn't like to fail people. He's creative in a weird way. But, he allows for revisions and keeps you up-to-date on your grade in the class. If you have never worked in a professional setting, then this class is very useful.

He's worked and taught for a long time and doesn't take any crap. He's sarcastic, but really funny. He grades really hard (takes whole letter grades off for singular errors) but allows for 5 revisions and 1 late paper. Learning how to write clearly is important, though, and he knows what he is talking about. But, if you cry easily, avoid him.

He's sarcastic, but it's funny as hell. He is a tough grader, but he lets you know up front so that if you do not think you can meet the criteria you can drop the class. It is the one class I actually enjoy coming to. He is rude and brass, but it hilarious

If you study for his diction tests and do the readings there is no reason why you shouldnt get at least a B. He's very sarcastic which makes him very funny. The only problem is that he's a tough grader on the papers (which he lets you rewrite for a better grade). I'm a crim/soc major and I had no problem with him. Tons of extra credit.

This was the most worthless class of my college career. I learned nothing about grammar that I didn't already know. It was boring, and the class was so disorganized that I was never aware that we covered any material at all. This was a waste of time.
