Dr. Mitchell makes something that seems dreadful, semi-fun. He's a funny guy, but I'll be honest, his humor isn't for everyone. He's very understanding and adaptable. He'll move test dates if needed, let out class early, and take extra time to explain tough concepts. Will definitely try to take him again.

Great stats teacher! I definitely recommend Mitchell if you have to take this class. He really wants his students to succeed and is hilarious. Class usually gets out early (like 20-30 min) and will push tests back if he thinks everyone needs more time with a concept

Dr. Mitchell is a great professor. He is funny and made a 3hr class go by VERY quickly with his funny stories. One large project. Easy A if you show up! Side Note- Dr. Mitchell, although a great guy- is a self-proclaimed "bad adviser". I work a full time job and all he can say when I ask about classes I need it "do a practicum".TRY TO SWITCH!!

Wayne is pretty funny. He loves telling stories about his daughter that relates to the material. As long as you pay attention to his lectures, you should be fine. He typically has a review session before the tests to remind everyone of the important topics

No book necessary. Passed with an A. Gives all notes. Has dry but funny sense of humor. Flat monotone lectures. Let's you redo the first two homeworks. My only (and biggest issue) was the lack of organization. Due dates on assignments are not set. 2 homework assignments, research paper, behavior analysis, and 3 tests.

Amazing teacher. He takes as much time to explain things as students need, and completely prepares you for exams. Applied topics, not memorize and regurgitate. He also makes lectures extremely interesting and is an all-around funny guy. Take any class from him, absolutely worth it!

Dr. Mitchell is incredibly entertaining, which is nice when you're taking stats! Tests are half open book, half closed. Do the worksheets and you'll pass! He has very interesting stories, is always willing to help and just a nice guy.

I don't know a lot about psych but think Mitchell did a great job of explaining and helping me to understand my questions. He's halarious and makes class enjoyable! You can get by without the book however it gives more real-life examples to understand when reviewing for test. Tests are average, he reviews before, GO to class day before!

Hilarious to listen to when off topic (often). Lectures go by quickly. However, teaches primarily to faster-learners. Wasn't always comfortable asking questions in class. Tests were moderate to easy, once you figure out his style. Gives you all the notes. Very interesting person.

Dr. Mitchell has a genuine concern for his students and is very helpful if you just ask him. He knows way more than you ever will about the subject material, so sometimes even the assistance is hard to understand. All the grades are from tests. Do the homework and you'll at least get a B.

Made stats easy to understand. Is availabe to help just ask. He has some very funny stories, and is very entertaining. Tests are half closed half open book. Most of points come from open book section. Do the homework sheets he gives you, go to class and get the A. I was pretty worried about stats until I took Dr. Mitchell. Super intelligent person.

THE most helpful prof I have ever had. He cares about helping you to see what is going on. Sharp, sharp, sharp! Probably the smartest guy I've ever met, and not the least bit arrogant about it. No matter what is going on - and he is the busiest guy - he has time for a student with a question, and that time is YOURS.
