Professor Silcox is an amazing professor. I can't recommend him highly enough. He truly cares about his students and wants to help them learn. He is active in discussions, responds to emails quickly, and he is constantly re-working his classes to make them better. (Also, all the negative reviews were from some years ago. His class is great now.)

Mr. Silcox was a wonderful professor and I will be taking him for my next CJ classes as well. He was very helpful and he was very clear in what he wanted us to do on our assignments. He also gave positive feedback and he is very knowledge. Having prior experience in the field has helped him be a wonderful professor. I highly recommend him.

professor silox highly suggests that students interact with each other, debating and discussing subjects. he is very accessible ad gives good feedback. his experiece in the field is aazing and he is very suppportive. he pulls the inportant information out things but that is what this field is about. keep up with ur work n ul b fine

Professor Silcox is quite possible the best professor I have ever had. He goes above and beyond, the work is simple yet necessary, and he really makes an effort. He doesn't hand you an A but he doesn't like to fail anyone either. Very lenient on lates, grading, papers, notes, etc. He will do anything he can to help if you bother to ask

Online class was extremely hard to sort through, no structure or anything, horrible web 1.0 style animated .gifs everywhere.There was also no structure to the class itself, all work was due on one day at the end of the semester, he did no teaching or discussions. worst prof I've ever had, and I went through a Bachelors already in a different field.

DO NOT take this class!!! You will regret it. This class was on-line, and that might be the difference. The work load was unbearable and the assignments were lengthy and not from the text. The tests were extremely difficult. Most of the students failed or had to drop the class. I promise you will regret it!!!

Silcox is a cool guy. He likes to talk..alot. His classes are cool and interesting. Ask him about when we saw him in Jack's with the 40oz of Old English.
