webster west is an awesome professor. he enjoys teaching and will go over it 1000 times until the whole class understands the material. very easy, everything comes straight from homeworks. easy A if you do the homework and don't slack on it. he's tricky with attendence though. overall, he is one of the best professors @ USC, by far.

West is the man! I absolutely HATE statistics and he actually made the course interesting and easy. You don't need your book for the class, just study the slides and the homework. 4 test including the final and a few homework grades. Great class, I recommend it to EVERYONE!

good teacher but it's a lot of work. 3 tests including the final. test questions are worded in weird ways that make them confusing. if you take this class be prepared to go each time it meets and study your rear end off to get a good grade.

this dude will make sure you understand the material. tests come straight from the homework and practice exams he gives you. rarely takes attendance but you should go anyway, its not that boring. if you do the homework and pay attention in class you should get an easy A in his class.

A truly great teacher. Knows his stuff and teaches it well. Gives practice exams that are identical to real test. Posts his notes online and will review material over and over again in class until you get it. Take his class.

Okay this class is not easy, but West makes it as easy as possible (for those of us bad at math). If you have to take STAT, definitely take this guy. The study guides he gives are great, but it is soo easy to make mistakes on the tests he gives.

If you are bad at math, you have to take West. He tells you everything you need to know for the test ahead of time (study guide), and he posts his notes, which makes it way easier to pay attention in class. He was the best math teacher I have ever had!

Very nice teacher and easy to understand. Posts his notes online (so you dont have to copy them). Test are similar to the hw and practice test, so there are no real surprises on the test. Stat is kind of hard though.
