Dr. G isn't that hard when she is grading your papers or anything. If you can clearly explain the material and have a good grasp on it you'll be fine writing her papers. Lectures are fun and interactive. If she knows your name and you participate enough in class discussions you'll do great. A very caring person. Do the readings.

Thinks everyone should think like her. Does not respect students and will call them out on anything; she tries to do it discretely, but you'll know right away who it is. Takes freshman seminar (I'm sure almost every student on campus can agree it is a useless class) way to seriously.

She was annoying, and she encouraged precipitation, but didn't like to hear feedback that she didn't like. I think she took the class to literal, it's just freshman seminar. I would not recommend.

I had professor Gaudin for Freshmen Seminar. During the course of our year, in class she asked questions that really made you think, as well as created activities that created meaningful applications. Through her efforts the material was more relatable and therefore made the topics at hand relevant.

Dr. Gaudin has high and unrealistic expectations. She is very honest about the material and personal matters. Its MANDATORY that you read the required material, the quizzes come straight from it, with an odd twist. She finds things in her material that you wouldn't consider important when you're reading.
