He was is a terrile teacher, the turbo becomes a 3.5 hr long class. He is not helpful and his tests are unresonable. Unless you have a photographic memory DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. He is wildly inappropriate and is very arrogant.

Took him for a film course. Most of the movies are popular within the film community, but most have not seen them. Very interesting films. Most of the test questions are on the details discussed in the lectures, and a few on the readings. Not hard at all. Participate and go to class and you'll do fine. Two papers but given many choices of topics.

He really knows the subject he is teaching, very knowledgeable and a good speaker. For some reason he thinks this is graduate level class, though. I am usually a straight A student and I put a lot of work into his class and struggled to get a B. Only take him if you really have to because he expects an unreasonable amount of work from his students

I didn't think Wes was a bad guy, but he just seemed to take the course a little too seriously. As a business major, TV&Comedy was a core requirement and the amount of reading, test material, and just overall structure of the class was ridiculous. There were so many minor details on exams (names, dates, orders) that the class simply wasnt enjoyable

Very, very long class, 3 hours and 15 minute turbo once a week. Take careful, copious notes on the movies, readings, and his lectures. His tests are kind of hard and his papers are too. Be prepared: If something's wrong, he will write rude comments on your exams and papers. He wants what he wants when he wants it. Don't ever miss a class or else.

Longest class of ALL TIME. One class went an amazing 3 hours and 35 minutes. First paper took a month and half to get back. He collected the next one before we got the first one... He's a liberal piece of crap too. Mostly I don't like him because he bashes conservatives in class. However, if you're not retarded, it's pretty easy stuff.

class is harder than expected. heavy on grammar for papers. guy knows his sh#t very into subject matter. little condescening only cuz he knows more than u. dont take if u have heavy course load and want an easy class. this is NOT easy. quirky prof but puts a lot of work into his classes and expects u to do the same.
