Prof. Warner is very detailed in his presentations, style, knowledge and experience in photography. Understanding how to use the camera in "manual mode" is a must in this class. I liked the class.

great instructor! He's a lil off the wall and jumps from one thing to another but motivates you and his personal energy inspires the class, or at least ones who want to learn. Wish he taught studio, has an amazing way of seeing light and problem solving. Wish more instructors were like him. FYI he can play favorites esp with his advanced students

his course was very interesting and helpful in learning the camera's creative fuctionality settings. he spends a lot of time teaching the basics of being able to "change what you see" before taking a picture. thought that was really different from what i was taught in other photo classes i've had.

I have him for photo II... his lectures can get detailed and he frequently incorporates them with his personal experiences to further explain concepts which has helped me out a lot. Humor: some can see it as annoying, but at least he HAS some compared to another photo prof. Projects: it can get very crazy in the darkroom, which is a negative.

He is too sel-involved. Spends too much time on lectures, rather than on actual assignments. At times he can be helpful, but there are times when he doesn't help at all. He talks entirely too much. He's a rathr boring teacher.
