Although, I was leary about taking this class after reading some of the negative comments, I actually thought the class was interesting. Yes, Dr. Renninger only approached the subject from the Christian point of view, but he seemed interested in other opionions/comments. Provided very helpgul study guides for tests. Work assigned was reasonable.

Incredibly biased, leading to an incredibly unbalanced and boring class. I'm here to learn, not be spoonfed his narrow-minded viewpoint. Very strict on attendance, but I suspect it was because I disagreed with him on almost everything.

While the material he went over in class seemed to make sense at the time I had a difficult time with his tests at least the multiple choice sections. They were extremely tricky and I really felt the choices were way to close for a Philosophy class. I would have liked to have more papers rather then tests. I would not recommend him.

i was weary of taking dr. renninger b/c of hearing only negative things about his classes. i hate reading, but the readings we had were mostly short.let your study guides be your bible!! you never have to participate in class, just listen. (except for a presentation or so) it was very laid back. he's a really nice guy, i would def. take him again.

If you're prof shopping, he's not an easy teacher. I learned a lot. Critical reading and logic are skills not taught in grade schools anymore. You need those for his class. If you can defend your comments and position, he is very willing to listen and debate. Theology was a breeze after this!

Dr.Renninger can be confusing and you can easily be distracted in his class because it is boring, but he is a nice professor. He will help you when you need it and as long as you follow his "study guides" you will get a high grade on his tests. His papers he walks the first one and will then help you on the second one as long as you ask him.

Gave up all hope after the 3rd class. Very unclear. Teaching style needs to change. Would have loved to learn more about PHI, but was turned off by his teaching. Dissappointed in my grade. Would NEVER take this prof. again.

I did very poorly in his class. It was very terrible having a professor who hated people with opinions. He was never clear on anything. We only touched on Christianity, he seemed to think that was the only religion we needed to know, my other theology class touches on other religions........

Very unclear i dont understand any part of the class. He Dosent write information on board in a clear formal manner book dosent give a clear understanding of what its trying to tell you either. As a teacher for an intro course he isnt clear enough.
