His lectures are simply him playing slides of art. He'll ask the class what they think but he'll never really be clear on what you should know about the art. The only thing to know about art for the exams are what he puts on handouts. He's fairly difficult when grading. He relates most things back the the human body and sexuality.

He is a very nice guy, but is not a good teacher. He seems very knowledgeable, but tends to ramble on and on and is not very clear during class. Almost everything he talks about he relates it to something sexual. He can be helpful during review sessions.

Took his art history course, I recommend taking music to fulfill your art core requirement. He takes one of the most interesting parts of history and butchers it. There's no structure, he shows random paintings from random time periods and switches back and forth expecting you to remember. Horrible class. Oh and don't buy the book its not worth it.

The entire class consists of him putting up a slide and asking every singe person in the room what the painting means to them. It's incredibly boring and pointless. On the first paper, h did not agree with what I wrote about (even though I looked up what the experts thought about the painting I chose), so he gave me a C.
