Answers questions, no matter how general. Tries to be helpful. Tests are difficult and he expects you to know what is going to be on them. Hands you the book and says "study this. it's all testable" pretty much. Very frustrating. You must be a patient person to do well. Doesn't play favorites though!

Professor Braun is very knowledgable about the topics discussed in class. The work load for this class was very balanced, with each lecture requiring students to read certain material. Tests and assignments were not overly complicated or long, and were marked quite fairly. Very good instructor and I highly recommend his classes.

Very intelligent guy, knows his subject well but his tests are really ambigious and he's not very clear about what he expects. Lectures are somewhat dull and he expects you to know the textbook inside out. Average prof.

Dr. Braun's lectures are a little bit like a semi truck: they carry a lot of valuable information, and once they get going they're pretty good, but they take a while to get going. You need a dash of patience and a willingness to attend every class in order to take this course. Good, solid prof. I'm glad I took this course.

After taking one intro class with him, I was addicted and had to keep taking more. Amazing and challenging lectures. Very open to discussion with students and always has a sense of humour. If i wasn't out of university, I would keep taking more classes with him.

He tends to try and sound smart by using uncommon terminology, however it is evident that he IS smart, so if you take notes and study with a dictionary you should be fine. Easy to talk to, answers any question no matter how vague. Objective and Balanced in his marking. Does not play favorites, though does pick on people he gets to know!

Prof. Braun's classes can be difficult, and his lecturing at times can be hard to understand - he does not generally explain concepts/ideas in general terms. He is, however, a brilliant and nice guy and his classes are extremely rewarding.
