Comment:

Absolute best professor at MSOE, hands down. Take him whenever you can - he makes even the most irritating CS classes worth it. Definitely not easy, but part of the reason for that is that he covers more than the other professors, which only helps you in the long run.

Never returned a single lab, so you have no idea what you are doing wrong on them and will not give you a 100% on them because "its not perfect", even if you did nothing wrong. Grades test and quizzes harshly, unless you don't make any mistakes, expect at least half the points off on the question.

Chooses favorites and grades students according to who he likes. I was lucky enough to be a favorite...some of my friends were not so lucky. He's the only professor that lets students choose between using assembly or C. But if you choose to use C it's very difficult because he teaches everything in assembly.

Super easy prof. Will help you on the labs but make you write your own code. Quizzes are relevant to the material is class. Midterm was so easy he dismissed the final. It's a design class so he makes you learn and build your own robot.

Keep away at all costs. helps a select few of students with problems, does not help everyone. i should know because when i would ask a question he would never help but would be more than willing to help the person behind me when he asked a question during lab. overly obsessive with ATMON, which sucks!! and if you cant use it you will fail the class

Lectures are boring and make you fall asleep. Quizzes are not like his lectures. Midterm was difficult. Labs are very easy, its a 3 hour lab but you can be out in 10-20 minutes if you have it done before you get there

Very good teacher. Very clear, right up there with Starr and Edenharder. Smooth flow to the lectures, fair quizzes and tests. VERY helpful in lab. Will try to help the student however he can, and really cares that you understand the stuff. One of the best teachers!
