Overall, good teacher. The class is an easy B but you will have to work for the A. He provides helpful EI sessions and allows paper rewrites which will usually add one letter grade. He praises originality and if you choose a common topic or don't state much opinion, he will take off points. Reading quizzes are not too hard if you do the reading

While he had a hard time directing our class, he has genuine interest in teaching students everything he knows. It's more of a talk-at class as opposed to a lot of open discussion. The best way to succeed is to write essays "out of the box." He prizes originality, and the way to get an A on a paper is to 1. go to EI and 2. compete with the class

LCDR Bushnell takes genuine interest in his students. Getting an A in his class is very tough, but getting a B is very doable. He allows you to rewrite essays if you want a better grade. Very nice, clear guy.

He really knows his stuff! But at the same time class can be a bit boring. It all depends on you and rest of the class to speak up and make it interesting. It pays to talk a lot and know the readings!!!!!!!!! Proof read your papers well, and send him your ideas first for him to approve. He will give you tips and ideas for your paper. Read the books

Very helpful if you go to see him in his office. Class gets really boring, though. Read the books, say a couple of things in class, and go to him before you write your paper, and you'll do fine. Allows re-writes of every paper to up your grade. I would have rather sat in my room on facebook, but i met with him for papers, and got a good grade.

i wanted to shoot myself everyday going into this guys class. it was an aweful experience, often times a struggle to stay awake. he allows for re-writes and generally gives those a good mark but other than that i barely got more then a C from this guy.

This guy looks like Colonel Guile from "Street Fighter"! He's kinda crazy, wierd sense of humor, but a good enough officer and a decent prof. He's real deep, a little too deep sometimes, but doesn't give too many papers and believes B.S. if you haven't read very easily and he'll run with it! Not bad

I'm an athlete and he's not as bad as everyone says. I don't know anybody in the class who has a problem with him and pretty much the only thing that's true about him is that he does have a ridiculous haircut. Other than that, it should be fairly easy to do well and get along with him. GOOD teach

Alright teacher....see him for help on papers and redo them if he offers to let you. It will pay off in the end...got B's on all the papers but got an A for the class after seeing him a lot and redoing them.
