Comment:
Dr. Coulter oversaw me the completion of the most difficult academic exercise of my education to date. He's one of the most learned and erudite men I've ever met, and he's a wholly good human being to boot. Some may find his style to be abrasive; it's not meant to be. The man knows his stuff, and wants to challenge you to get it right.

Brilliant, learned, funny -- a true gentleman. Coulter is one of the best people and professors you will ever know; you're selling yourself short if you don't take a class with him.

I love how Dr. Coulter incorportates art and music into his classes. Also, by reading mostly poetry in his 206 class (an atypical approach) I got to read things I probably would never have heard of otherwise. Have to work hard, but he will teach you much.

Dr. Coulter is now temporary Dean at the college, but still teaches. He is an AMAZING professor who will get you fired up about British Literature... but be prepared to Work your BUNS off! He is not an easy, breezy professor. He wants you to really learn something!

An amazing professor, he really gets to know his students and is a wealth of knowledge regarding British Literature. Sometimes called arrogant, but I've always found him to be warm and open to new opinions.

He may know what he's talking about. Sometimes. However, he is not as smart as he thinks he is. And he's not half as much fun to listen to as he thinks he is. R-MWC may not offer many choices for professors, but you can do better than him.

A very knowledgable professor, he not only knows the history of british literature, but also the music and art of the same periods. This was a good class because it made me think and work hard to get a good grade, not just breez through.
