had him for other classes too. Vast amount of knowledge to be gained from him. Do you homework so you can learn. Stay ahead of the game always. I wish he was more available for one on one. Located in GR location.

Overall he is a pretty good professor. Some topics are harder than others but if you don't skip class, you will learn them. Only bad thing is you are required to buy a textbook but you never open it.

Prof. Koepf is a good teacher. He stumbles sometimes but he is human. There are times where he was unprepared but he is helpful. I've taken most my PDET classes with professor Koepf and have to that he could be worse. all in all I like the guy.

Koepf pretty much teaches you straight out of the book. Occasionally, he will explain some things in more detail than the book. Overall pretty easy class, as I did not have any modeling before this and got an A-. Make sure you do good in his class because in second semester MFGT you need to know so much more that he didn't teach.

WOW! I never thought GD&T could be so frustrating. Koepf is a nice guy but not a great prof. The tests were horrible but not impossible. I don't think the subject matter helped. GD&T is probably frustrating no matter who teaches it. I've got him next semester for different classes. We'll see how that goes.

He is a nice guy but a very bad instructor. PLEASE PUT FORTH A LITTLE EFFORT KOEPF!!! If i came to my job as unprepared as this guy, i'd be fired. Dont bother sending him emails, i dont know any students that have ever recieved a response. If you take his class, plan on spending alot of time teaching yourself.

Koepf does not make his class easy. He lectures about stuff that is not on test or homework. He repeats stuff out of the book and generally does as little as he can get away with. A class of 20 students and everybody seems to feel thes same about him... not a very good instructor. seems like a nice guy though.

Koepf is by far the worst prof. I have had at ferris. He comes to class unprepared, doesnt know the material that well. His tests are horrible. He likes to put stuff on the test that he hasnt covered in class. He is not open to suggestions and does not take critisism well. This was a very improtant class for me and unfortuantely the prof did n

I recommend taking this class with a SLA. Klope doesn't make the material as easy to understand as the SLA instructor. During the labs, he won't tell you exactly what is wrong with your protoboard. The class was still good, yet a bit of a challenge. He should do something about the coffee breath though.

I don't know what these other people are talking about!! I have never had a professor that was more willing to help out their students. If you just do your homework it is an easy B+/A-. And yes, YOU need to do it, no getting around that. This class eases you in and does not get bad at all. I had zero pro-E experience.

Don't take PDET 412 from Koepf - He will waste your money. 90% of the class is what he "thinks" and does not relate to real-world situations. The book he uses for the class is worthless. If he likes you, you might get a good grade but you won't learn anything. DEFINITELY take a different professor.
