he's the pre-engineering advisor for FAMU/FSU program and he is very helpful. He gives a lot of time. He is really helped to keep me on track for the engineering world. which is a challenge for me.

Comment:

Easy grader and chooses some awesome films to watch, including Life is Beautiful and Ciao Professore. Perfect class to take if you're looking for an easy A. Three papers and one presentation. Hard to understand sometimes because he speaks low but it's fine because assignments are merely based on the films anyways. Would take again in a heartbeat

Comment:

My favorite and most memorable professor so far. He has a heart of gold and cares so much for his students. He is very blunt in a funny way and does not hesitate to go off on rants where you can see how much passion he has for his work. Ignore the syllabus completely, he grades papers easily and the couple of quizzes are absolute jokes.

Leparulo is slightly intimidating and can be harsh, but his methods work. It forces you to learn and if you actually put in the effort he requires you'll do fine. Just make sure you do your homework!

Dr. Leparulo is one of the most amazing professors I have had thus far at FSU. He truly cares about his students and is committed to helping them improve. He can be a little harsh and doesn't hesitate to put you on the spot. I have taken any class he has offered and have enjoyed them thoroughly. Not an easy A.

Basically what everyone else said...he doesn't follow the syllabus AT ALL, so you don't really know what you're doing on a day-to-day basis. doesn't give much HW (usually forgets to collect/grade it anyway). if you did well in ita 1&2, you will be fine.

He never stuck to the syllabus, everyday was a surprise with him. however, he was a kind man and very entertaining. He is a stickler for grammar so study conjugations for everything. Class was fun and he definitely has his favorites. Participate and put forth effort b/c if he likes you, he will give you a good grade

he is the kindest, most caring teacher i've ever had at fsu. he wants so much for you to learn and understand the language b/c he thinks it's beautiful and important...that rubs off on you. he tries harder every day to make his class fun so that you'll want to study and he can give you an A. moves at your pace and goes out of his way to help! :)

Very good teacher although he is a little strict day-to-day. Teaches in a very conversational method as opposed to requiring a lot of book reading. Of all the Italian professors I learned the most about speaking the language in his class.

I found the films very interesting, but I would have preferred another professor for this course. At first, I thought I'd love him. But as the semester went on, I really did not like him. He is cute...he was really hard on me but it was because he cared so much. I got a D in his class and I was afraid he would hate me, but he didn't he encouraged me and when he teaches again I will take his class again! You only know a teacher cares when they show you their feelings.
