For being head of the course, he has no involvement. Every student is a number to him. It is a shame he doesn't share his knowledge with the students but just with the TA's that are often just as lost as the class, because they are not familiar with the material.

Dr. Marvin is an amazing theory and aural skills professor. He really explains everything very thoroughly and is incredibly passionate - more so than any other theory professor at Eastman. He is very flamboyant and has a tremolo-like vibrato, but he is extremely knowledgeable, especially about Wagner.
