Prof McCan was very understanding with problems and an easy grader. His class wasn't difficult at all. Easy A. Very interesting if you like music history. I genuinely enjoyed his class. It was a breath of fresh air compared to my other courses.

This class is an easy A, the lectures are extremely boring but he doesn't say anything if you're on your phone or sleep. There is only one paper, a midterm, and final. He gives a review sheet for both the midterm and the final and if you memorize them you will get a 100 because that's where all the questions are from.

Boring class. Everyone says it's an easy A but I got an 81 on the midterm because I can't comprehend that information well. I studied a lot but I still did bad. Boring class, half the class doesn't show up. Midterm is 30%, Paper is 30% and Final is 40%. I'm gonna have to do good on the paper and final in order to bring my grade to an A.

Easiest class ever taken. Hes a sweet & adorable old man. you dont have to pay attention/take notes at all cause he gives you a study guide for the midterm/final which gives the exact answers. watch movies in class. one 3 pg essay due at end of semester about a music performance. i seriously put no effort into this class. take for a gened! EASY A

easy a class and profesor. he gives a study guide for the only two test the midterm and final if u study them then u shoudl be fine. class wasnt my favorite but it wasnt that boring like the other comments make it seem. its juts listening to music and looking at movies nothign to diffucult. the only work is a paper on a concert and i got an A.

I took intro to music last semester and i thought that was bad. His world of music class is absolutely terrible. I had to walk out during the second class and drop it because i didn't know what the hell he was talking about. The class probably would have been an easy A but it's not worth the torture.

The only reason I survived this class was because I took theory in high school. He is a horrible teacher, he knows what he is talking about but is terrible at helping you understand what he is talking about. He rambles off topics and onto completely different things. I'm not minoring in music now thanks to this class.
