Class can get boring especially at 930 in the morning, but it was an easy A. Weekly quizzes which arent bad at all just look over the stuff he told you on tuesday. You watch a bunch of movies which is hard to do so early but def easy class. The final was really easy too! Just pay attention on tues in class and youll get As on all the quizzes

Easy class, but very very boring. Material is not presented clearly and the weekly quizzes are nonsense. He is very rude to his students and condemns people for simple questions.

Kinda boring class, but he is an overall nice guy. Weekly quizzes, which are easy. If you read the material or at least review it you will get an A on all of them. Tends to ramble on about useless stuff though.

brilliant man! loved his war correspondent stories from vietnam and gulf wars. movies shown were very appropriate for class topics. his vast knowledge and experience in the field of mass comm. and personable demeanor make him an asset to quinnipiac! if you are a mass comm major or minor his course are a must! he gives serious students his all.

He reminds me of my grandpa! He is such a nice little old man. He seems to really love teaching students about what he knows as far as communications. I find him very interesting and I never dread going to his class. He gives one quiz a week on the material from the week before, but they are extremely easy. Great guy!

Obviously everyone else is seeing somthing Im not. He was the most boring teacher ive ever had. All we did was watch movies and then he would quiz us on them. other then that he would ramble about stuff and then quiz us on that to. there were times he would fall asleep in the middle of class. I would not recomend him for MSS

Ok, so he is a jewel on the quinnipiac staff. I had him back in 2003 (spring) for my junior sem. TAKE HIM. in all honesty there is noone better equipped to teach you. he's world class...VERY intelligent. and overall a wonderful teacher. If you don't take him...you're obviously not serious about being a journalist..

You won't find a better professor. Make sure he tells you his CBS stories, especially the ones relating to the 60 minutes correspondents.

It's obvious he has the experience, so why not share it? Class was either out of the book or movie time. I really wish he shared more with us because it was an easy class, but tedious to sit through twice a week. Definitely gooo knowledge of Journalism though.
