Great Psychology professor, warns you of pop quizzes a few days in advance. All the slides are online so that helps with studying and absences. Very good at explaining the criteria and asks if there are any questions a lot. Wouldn't wanna have any other psych professor.

Dr. Meil was definitely one of my favorite professors. He's extremely kind, clearly passionate about what he does/teaches, and always helpful. He'll go out of his way to help students if needed, especially when you go to office hours. Exams are a little difficult, there is a lot of material covered. But study well and you'll do well.

He is hands down my favorite professor so far. He is so nice and he really cares about his students. He loves the material he teaches and it really shows. Questions are always welcome and often lead to very interesting stories that give and in-depth view of the topic. I can't wait to have him for future classes.

Dr. Meil was a fantastic professor. He was willing to help you out if you had any issues and he let me take an exam later because I had a funeral the day of an exam. Most of my profs would've made me take that exam early. He warns you about pop quizzes and attendance is highly recommended. I was in a majors only course but I would take him again.

By far my favorite professor. Meil really cares about your grade, has amazing and interesting lectures, and will bump your grade if you participate and come to class. The text book is required but if you don't have it you won't fail. We read a book in class and after each review we did he gave a "pop quiz" (which he informed about) for points!

Really great guy! Easy to work with and always willing to help. His book choices were a bit hard to read, but in the end they taught a lot.

Dr. Meil was a pretty good professor for core. The books he chose were pretty interesting and had to do with the core question. The one difficult part of the paper because he was pretty particular about what he wanted. I did enjoy his class though, and I learned a lot!

The only thing good about Dr. Meil is that he is helpful. As far as everything else, there are too many papers, his directions are not always clear, and his test are not easy. If I had the chance, I would have taken the other professor for Physiological Psych.

He knows a lot about this subject and it's not due to prior drug use. He makes the topic interesting and you want to learn. Students need to do their papers and really study for exams. He's a really good professor, I recommend him.

A brilliant man and a good instructor, but doesn't take much into account for grades other than the numbers. Student integrity and improvement didn't seem to mean much, which is pretty disappointing.

Dr. Meil is awesome, one of the best profs I've had at IUP, he is very interested in the topic and tests are straight from the notes (I did not buy a text and got an A). The end project is fun as well, take him you will learn a lot about psych and neuro!

He told us the first day that there was a drug on the market either legal or illegal that he has personally taken. He means that and it shows because he is very knowledgable on the subject, I have asked him numerous questions about different drugs and each time he has given me a clear and conscise answer. take him you will not be dissappointed

Dr. Meil is an awesome professor. This class was difficult and covers tons of material, but dr. meil is very helpful and explains things thoroughly. Tests are not easy but if you go to class regularly, take good notes, and STUDY the notes, you will get an A or B on the tests.

Before this class I hated the "brain" & "physiological" stuff...but he is AWESOME. He takes a very difficult subject and makes it fun and interesting and the best part is YOU ACTUALLY LEARN!! Highly recommended!

Very nice guy. His Drugs and Behavior class was an absolute pleasure to attend early in the morning. The tests are somewhat difficult but his grading is absolutely fair. He's also always willing to help outside of class, a big plus.
