This man is an absolute inspiration and gift to Gettysburg College. He cares for his students' learning and overall well-being like no other professor I've had. His lectures are clear, enjoyable, and may make you fall in love with chemistry. He is always available in his office.. His humble, loving personality will leave a legacy at Gettysburg.

I LOVE WILLIAM PARKER SO MUCH. He is a sweet and radiant sunbeam, a true gem. His class wasn't that interesting, but hanging out with my boy Willy P made it all worth it. His door was always open to ask questions, do homework, whine about lab, or just talk about life. He is LITERALLY my guardian angel and I have nothing but good things to say. XOXO

GOD I LOVE THIS MAN! The most personable and genuinely nice professor on this campus and he is so clear in his teaching for chemistry. Just a great guy all around and it's so unfortunate he's retiring.

Professor P was my adviser as well as my chemistry prof, and I wish I had him for more lectures. Very personable with his students and makes sure that he is available when you need him to be. 10/10 professor, hard but do-able class, and you always find out when he will collect HW or give a pop quiz.

Parker's lectures are very clear, and he will always arrange a time to meet with you if you are confused about anything. Most of his test questions come directly from the homework with different numbersare variations on questions from his practice tests, so if you prepare and study you will do just fine! Very friendly and cares about his students.

It's a chemistry class, so obviously it takes work, but he's very good at lecturing on what is important and giving helpful shortcuts. If you want to do well, make sure you understand the homework and definitely ask for practice exams. From my experience, the practice exams were pretty similar to the real thing.

If you can take a class with Dr. Parker, I highly suggest you do. After every lecture, he announces his office hours for the next few days-he is always there to help! Usually just do problems in lectures, so they can seem long, but his personality makes it enjoyable. One of the most enjoyable chem classes I've taken! Textbook only for homework.

First things first, I hate chemistry and I am not a science major. That being said, this was a great class because Parker is awesome. Somehow, with all of his students he learned my name and greeted me warmly even though I never went in for help. When I finally did start going in for help, he was enthusiastic and you can tell he loves his students

First of all, I don't like how rate my professors thinks that if a class is difficult it should impact the professors score. That makes no sense; people go to college to be challenged. That being said, This class was great, arguably my favorite of the semester. Not hard if you had a good high school chem professor. Homework was collected 3-5 times.

Most of lecture consists of examples, because he seems to expect you to know the subject matter by learning it on your own. If you had AP chem in HS this course will be quite easy. He encourages people to go to his office hours and rightfully so. He is extremely helpful one-on-one.

Professor Parker is one of the sweetest Professors and makes himself available for those who come in for help as long as it's not the day before a test because then the whole world is trying to get into his office.
