Bill is a somewhat difficult teacher, which was not helped by the class being 7-9pm on Mondays. The homework is tedious, boring, and run on a genuinely terrible system, but you have to do it. The TA George was the best part of the class. Oh and the tests are hard, but he drops questions if the majority get them wrong.

bill is awesome! i took his forest fire control class just for 1 credit, but i ended up loving it and training to become a wildland firefighter. books are cheap, written tests are easy, physical tests are tougher.

Where to begin. This was a class that I was excited about. Bill Patterson did a great job of making me completely hate measurements. Between mumbling, teaching horribly, and just being a miserable guy, this class was aweful. Labs were straight up insane. Never come across someone who enjoys making kids miserable more than bill. mrrrraaaughhhhhhhhhh
