man, i wrote 3 one page papers (double spaced). that's it. got an A. definitely felt bad so went every now and then. great guy. makes 50 min very long, but yea, you can tell he's intelligent and very, very nice.

Dr. Ramsey is pretty cool. His class is so easy you can pass with your eyes closed. He only made our class write like 4 papers that were about a page or so each double spaced for the entire semester. There is no final and you never have to show up. He is kind of odd..and sorta absentminded...but you can tell he is very intelligent. A very nice man.

Doctor Ramsey is knowledgable, but regularly goes into odd speaches about topics vaguely related to the subject at hand. Don't bother buying the book, he reviews every chapter orally before each paper, which is written in class. You're even able to re-submit a bad paper for a re-grading. A very easy to deal with professor.

Worst class I've ever had. Rambles about nothing whatsoever (KFC, Apple computers, baseball, irrigation in ancient Egypt, etc) and only spends a few minutes actually talking about the literature itself. Effectively killed any enthusiasm I might have had about American Lit.

a little eccentric. he likes to ramble on about floppy disks and whatever else pops in his head. however, this a very easy class. only six two-page papers the entire semester and to top it off he gives you time to work on them in class. also, he doesn't care if you're there or not. just a do a paper loosely based on each chapter he covers.

REALLY BORING. We listen to him ramble on for a week, and then have a whole week to write our essay, including class time. Slow to return papers. Gives a lot of B's on papers, but he goes over each paper with you and lets you fix it to hand it back in. Easy class though. Doesn't care what you do during class or even if you show up.

With out a doubt one of the most boring classes and teachers i have ever had at Marshall University. You learn nothing and tests are T/F. The reading material is horrible and you wont be able to force your-self to do it. There is a mid-term essay and a bonus term paper, these two assignments saved my grade. I barely went and got a B. Glad it's over
