I took this class online. It's pretty easy and straightforward if you do the readings. There's a lot to read and over 30 quizzes plus a midterm and final and 3 written assignments but overall it's not a bad class.

This teacher is not helpful at all. He does not respond to emails. I took his music 101 online course. He does not do a single thing to help you, and he has a huge ego when you do talk to him. he gets paid to do nothing. He is a horrible teacher, and when i asked for extra help, he told me to buy the textbook!!!!

I took this class online and I have to say it's probably the easiest course in the world. I don't understand people complaining about the CD, textbooks can cost just as much. You can do everything at your own pace - nothing is due until the last day. The big tests can be a little hard if you don't do them ASAP, but everything else is so easy.

$100 CD--totally hands off teacher. You don't hear from him the entire semester unless you have a question. And even then its very dry. He isn't actually teaching, the CD is, so he has it pretty good. Doesn't offer Extra Credit either. You can work ahead and be done way faster than the semester ends which was pretty cool.

One of the best professors I ever had. His class left me with a wounded ego, but well prepared for life as a musician. He doesn't "hold your hand" and expects nothing but your best. He manages to bring it out too. One of the best professors I EVER had.

well im rating this teacher before i take the class because he is making his students purchase a $100 cd. i dont know if he knows the manufacturer or what, but if you are going to charge community college students (a lot of whom, like me, are poor) a hundred dollars for a cd, you are probably the spawn of satan. i mean really come on!
