He comes to class super sweaty and unprepared. If your a hot girl be prepared to be hit on. All we did was watch movies and take weekly quizzes. I never attended class so i got a C. he does scan tron tests but he grades them by hand and doesnt mark the ones you got wrong just writes a grade at the top(very confusing) horrible teacher but mandatory

This guy is hard if you do not attend class. If you sit in the front and pay attention he will remember you and give you a good grade. Make sure you get together with other student and do a study guide. Its a lot easier. I got a good grade and didn't do good on any of my writing responses. Or papers. Sit in front he will remember you!!

Would not recommend, however, you have to take him because he is the only one who teaches this section. Requires you to read the chapters before class and to be ready to discuss material but then talks the entire time. Goes off topic A LOT. Test very unfair-trick questions. He doesn't want you to do well. Class isn't demanding just annoying.

Very eloquent speaker and intelligent. He is really good at providing examples for his lecture, however, he tends to DWELL and go on tangents with his examples!!--FOR DAYS! There wasn't any assignments to practice/learn the materials, which sucked because our grade was based off of a few things! He gives weekly quizzes and two exams.

Well, to start, all I have to say is that my name does not need to be said 10 times each class period. I was very offended by him pointing me out in class EVERYDAY. Not a good teacher and i went to his office hours ONCE if that tells you anything. very confusing and the tests have nothing to do with the material..ridiculous waste of time.

This guy has got to be one of the worst professors at Chico State! That is no joke. His classes are difficult, the subject matter is terrible, his lectures are confusing and he is a jerk to boot. I took him for one semester, got a C and still have no idea what he was teaching. If you have children, I would keep them away from him. Seriously though avoid this guy like the plague, in fact avoid the communications department all together, its a complete waste of an educational experience.

You can ell he knows alot or reads the dictionary all night...HE makes up words(it seems) and you learn more about his examples than what he is trying to teach! To pass this class show up so he can see your face, and then READ. None of the test questions will be about his lectures. All based on reading that he does not cover in class. Questions are hard, but he takes it all from the reading. Sweet man, but needs to be a less sensitive and more flexible.

Terrible. Lectures are unorganized and random. He is a tough grader on everything. He hit’s on his female students in class, but even more so in private. In addition, he almost never let us out of class early. He teaches so that he can force people to listen to him, not because he wants to teach.
