His quizes are really easy. Take home and multiple choice! You're allowed to use a notecard during exams. His exams are also multple choice and fairly simple. He's very straight foward and easy to understand during lecture. He doesn't mind if you interupt and ask questions. I 110% recommend taking one of his classes. I love Professor White!

Great professor.I liked him so much in Tech math 1 that I chose to take his tech math 2 the next semester. He has a knack for helping you really understand the subject. He is very accommodating if you miss a quiz or test.

I'm pretty decent in math anyway but White has been a great teacher all around. He'll help you as much as you need, he's easy to find the days he's on campus, and if you miss school with an extended illness he's more than accommodating. Homework isn't mandatory so once you've had enough practice you can stop. Lots of quizzes. Take him if you can.

As a professor, he is probably good. But NOT as the Head of Engineering and Science Department! Don't expect to get ANY scholarship if you are NOT engineering major regardless of what your GPA is! ONLY Engineering students get it, only they go for trips to UMASS and only their names are written on the board in the lab. Dept needs a new chairperson

Verry clear presentation, his courses are hard but he grades fairly. The final in his calc.1 class was easier than any test all semester.
