Comment:

Spends 50 minutes writing on the board and saying "Then you do this, this, and then.....(10 steps later)." He expects you to have algebra mastered so you can know what he does each step instead of him explaining. Lazy in the way he explains stuff, tests are 65% of grade, finals 30, quizzes are 5%. If you have him for Calculus, I'm deeply sorry.

So no, you're not going to get an A in this class for just showing up. Take notes & do the homework (it's never more than 4 problems). The homework isn't mandatory, but it's helpful. Tests dont have any curveballs or surprises. If you get an A on the final he'll give you an A for the class. Would definitely take again!

He is a great teacher ever!!! His class is very easy. All the materials that we need in the test are taught in class. We don't need to read the textbook at all. Some hard materials, he doesnt require us to study. I think he is so great!!!

very hard and thinks you should know math. he is intelligent and likes to show it off and at the same time, expects you to know the material even though he does not really teach it. he goes too fast. I think he's just there to collect a paycheck.

Teaches difficult material as good as anyone can. He is friendly and approachable. Very knowledgable. Tests aren't easy, but cover familiar material. Homework is sometimes difficult. Tries his best to keep students from falling asleep (to little avail).

Winfrey was an excellent teacher, but had a high attrition rate. Wouldn't recommend him if you do poorly in math. Tried to make stats fun, and a funny guy. Concepts were a bit hazy, and we didn't go over statistical applications.
