Dr Redmond is perhaps the best professor I've had at SEMO. Never in my life have I seen a professor as willing to help you as he is. His class is fairly difficult but he makes it fun. Responds to emails and questions quickly and is interested in helping you succeed. I wish every professor were like him!

Quite disappointed by this professor. He has a reputation for being easy, but what's the point of grad school, if you don't learn anything from it? Lectures so far has been nothing but student presentations (short articles). No textbook teachings, slideshows or nothing. Plus we get to leave after about half the scheduled time has passed.

I took this class online and it was fairly easy. Redmond's little comments he makes on directions and such are pretty hilarious. We do 2 chapters per week. Usually 2-3 forum questions per chap. A 5 min quiz for every chap...and the exams are straight from his notes. Oh and there is a paper at the end of the semester.

He is a pretty easy professor and extremely nice and friendly. He is always in a good mood and tries to be light and humorous with the class. The tests aren't bad at all, and I don't think I opened the book once all semester.

Redmond made me understand this class really well. I'm not even the least bit interested in economics but he made it easy for me to understand. If you miss class it's not the end of the world because the notes that u take are always online.

Nice guy, good intentions but makes the class VERY boring. Just an FYI he passes around a sign in sheet every class, if you miss more than 3 or 4 classes he says he will make you write an extra paper just to keep your grade where it is. Do not take his classes Tues/Thurs for an hour and 15 minutes because it will put you into a guaranteed sleep!

He only grades you on 4 tests. and a paper but that's only 10% of your grade. Class is very boring. doesn't like to help with studying for tests. tests are pretty hard 2. remember to study your book, even though he doesn't say to!
