Comment:

This is one of the most crankiest, irritable and cantankerous old guy who thinks he knows everything! I only took this class because I needed another science & international course credit. The hybrid course was okay until we had to do the group project. I so hate working with people!

Probably one of the worst teachers I've ever had. I took the hybrid Environmental Crisis class. It was horrible. 2 MANDATORY classes... Don't miss these you will regret it. Tests are hard. Videos and lectures online were completely useless. Google multiple choice questions on tests. Read. Chapter "goals" were useless. I got nothing from this class

Professor Kostzya tried his best with this class, but he relied too heavily on Andrew Watterson to co-teach. "Professor" Watterson did not make it to several classes and took more than 6 wks to return grades on our first writing assignment. Kosztya really wanted to teach this class- and had an honest interest in the subject matter.

Had him for Environmental Crisis. Sometimes hard to follow along in class but overall is a fair professor. There is quite a bit of work to do but as long as you do it you will be fine. Was always willing to help. Great sense of humor!! :)

Study very hard, although it is not my major. If you want to get an easy A, don't choose him. But if you want to learn something about Chemistry, he is a good choose. Make sure you study really hard. A tough teacher but really funny and helpful!

Great instructor, caring and helpful. Puts students on the spot during class by shooting off questions at them, so you better read the textbook before coming to class. 3 pop quizzes, 2 exams and one 12-page paper. Start on the paper right away, follow his instructions to a T while writing it and you will do great! Lets you bring notes to exams.

Great teacher, made class very interesting. Funny guy! LOVED the grading scale, you know exactly where you stand, you know every assignment you will have also. One 12 pg paper, not bad at all. really liked this class and teacher!

Don't remember #. It was environemental crisis class. Very interesting class. Good material, well prepared material, fair in reviewing and grading tests, papers and quizzes. Likes to walk around and pop questions at you so you need to be on your toes in class. Overall enjoyed his easy-going relaxed style and learned alot.

Caring professor concerned more with learning than grades. I took the Environmental Crisis class and there was a paper due every week, but he grades easy. Midterm was take home and final wasn't very difficult. I learned a lot!

Great Science teacher. Open book and take home tests. I suggest if you're not a science major and don't want to take something that will hurt your GPA. Great sense of humor, caring, really nice guy. The Environmental Crisis immersion is awesome as well.
