Amazing man. Is beyond passionate when it comes the subject matter. Read the textbook before the tests. He gives study guides. Quizzes and exams are straightforward and fair. If you read and pay attention there is no reason for you to do bad in this course. Loved him, I wish he taught more courses.

AWESOME CLASS. Never thought I would say this but I miss this class. It was at 8:30 in the morning and I actually enjoyed going. Greatest professor I've had and makes everything interesting and easy to understand. Tests can be difficult but take good notes and you'll be fine. One easy paper. Highly recommend this guy and class!!!

One of the best classes I have ever taken. Dr. Conover is amazing, the tests are very straightforward, and the readings are actually enjoyable. This class is best way to satisfy your humanities and cultural diversity requirements. I am actually going to miss this class, which is something I never thought I would say about any class. Its a must take

Good guy, means well. Class is interesting but tests are hard. A lot of essays and tough grader. A lot of reading and quizzes, however, he does give extra-credit.

Dr. Conover is just a tremendous human being. He is by far one of the greatest professors I've had so far. I took this class because it counted as humanities and cultural diversity, but it was actually super interesting. There's a ton of reading, but nothing too bad. Quizzes and exams are cake if you do the reading, and one paper. Highly recommend.

AWESOME professor! i don't think i ever read my textbook except in the very beginning before i knew his tests were based simply on notes! memorize your notes and you'll surely get an A! the tests are very detailed in terms of what he asks but they're all in the notes he gives you. very animated and has a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR! amazing professor!!

nice but very demanding. you have to study to do well but he's very organized and teaches the matieral in a way that everyone can understand. if you study your notes exactly you will ace the tests. weekly quizzes are basic and are on the articles we have to read. 3 projects aren't too bad but he's a picky grader sometimes. take him!

ah, the awesome little man... did London with him and Geography. PHENOMENAL. Great sense of humor; practically the only one i could take at 8:30 am (besides parente, klonoski, rowe, and Fron); HIGHLY recommend London trip. Made mandatory geography fun & interesting; fair grader; gives good notes
