Without a doubt the absolute worst professor and tenure at its worst. His tests were just numbers gymnastics in converting binary to whatever and only those with old tests had a chance. Nothing from the lectures nor the book would be on the tests. Just expected you to magically know. I name him when asked to donate money to the NSM.

He knows his stuff, If you like Programming, you will like this class. Summit was the TA for this class, and that helped alot, Summit is really good at explaining the material in a way that the students understand. If you slack off on the programs, you will fail!

Teach by powerpoint. Tests are hard. You have to do alot of calculation by hand. No calculator allowed. You have to do alot of binary calculation and programming in assembly. (honestly, who uses assembly anymore?). AVOID HIM IF POSSIBLE.

The worst instructor I have ever taken. People did not study for his class they just simply studied 'old tests'. You cannot have access to his notes, and he doesnt care if you understand the material. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS
