Lol never been in a class with such a high average (It was around 86% going into the final). Class wasnt exactly curved tho and she did give out lots of A's. All in all, Dr. Young was an excellent prof, gave very simple and clear explanations.

The best math professor I have ever had. her notes were very clear and she gave many examples that were very simular to the exams. do the assigned questions! they are exactly like her tests. no assingments to hand in. great great math prof! knows how to teach!(and im not a math fan)

Took the course 15 years ago, and still remember the transcendental sereneness and clarity of her presentation. If you get through the accent (thick as a doorknob, I'm afraid), she is the best explainer of the most god-awfully difficult material I have ever encountered in my life.

Best math prof I've had so far at the U of A, having taken 114, 115, 120, 225, and 214 the previous semester. Very clear, explains concepts extremely well, doesn't talk about anything you don't need to know for the course. If she mentions it, know it, and you don't have to go deeper than that into the text.

If you have to take boring Stats, take it with her. Her accent does not affect her clarity, her exams are straightforward, and her notes are great. It is very easy to do well if you pay attention and attend every class. Try to set up a group of people you can check answers with for her assignments (cuz it's easy to make mathematical errors).

A great prof! Very good notes, always willing to help. Easy exams if you do assignments and go over the examples in the notes (and if you make a good formula sheet). I didn't think stats would be that easy but it is with Dr. Young.

Very nice teacher. If you need help she is very eager to help. Assignments are easy if you copy her notes and the tests are easy if you do many questions from the book (as it says in her syllabus). She is very fair when she (or her T.A.s) mark.

Her notes are really organized, and althuogh shes not very exciting, neither is math. Exams are fair, and she gives alot of examples. Too much material in the course though, forces her to go too fast sometimes. I would recommend taking her as a prof.

A super easy class, but she breaths sleeping gas! She really is a cutie, just boring class, come on time, class starts at the exact time it should and goes to exactly 10 to. Write down everything she does and the class is going to be a breeze!

A sweetheart. If she makes a mistake (rarely), she apologizes for 5mins. Great notes, easy exams (straigh from exam bank), will help you with your assignments, just an overall sweetheart. I enjoyed stats because of her.
